- ➤ Residents of Placitas and nearby areas will see increased activity on NM State Highway 165 at 1 p.m. on Saturday—over 65 volunteers from Jardineros de Placitas, marking their 60th anniversary, along with members from the Placitas Community Library and Las Placitas Presbyterian Church, will clean nine miles of road to expand the traditional cleanup from one to six miles.
