ICE arrested 48 immigrants lacking permanent legal status during a weeklong enhanced enforcement operation in Albuquerque, Roswell and Santa Fe, with 20 convicted of serious offenses and the remaining detained for illegal entry without criminal records—immigrants' rights advocates have filed a formal complaint with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security citing concerns over the unknown detention conditions and disappearance of these New Mexicans.
