- ➤ Today, Presbyterian Hospital hosted its annual 'Daffodil Days' fundraiser to help the elderly, with 260 volunteers arranging 100,000 flowers for those in end-of-life care. Donations and daffodil sales will happen Friday at pop-up shops in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho—and Santa Fe. KOAT
- ➤ Today, the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women held its Breaking Cycles of Violence Conference from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. near Rio Rancho—bringing together tribal officials, advocates and service providers to discuss strategies addressing violence against Native women and the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls crisis. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ APD is investigating a shooting at the Barcelona Suites Hotel (900 Louisiana Blvd. NE) that happened this morning after officers responded to a call, located a victim with a gunshot wound, and transported them to a local hospital where the victim remains in critical condition. KOAT

- ➤ Sandoval Academy of Bilingual Education in Rio Rancho opened its new building—its permanent home according to principal Jackie Rodriguez. Rio Rancho Observer
