- ➤ The Downtown Growers' Market in Albuquerque will open on April 5th at Robinson Park—marking its 29th season with over 200 local growers and a new youth area called Budding Biz Market for vendors aged 6—17. SNAP recipients will also be able to double their spending using the Double Up Food Bucks Program as the market extends through the second week of November. KOAT

- ➤ Rio Rancho Public Schools suspended the junior varsity baseball team’s season after a student reportedly urinated in a water jug and Rio Rancho Police opened an investigation with charges set to go to juvenile probation and parole. KOAT
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ New Mexico state treasurer Laura Montoya warned yesterday that tariffs set against 10 to 15 countries (including Mexico, which supplies $2.5 billion in annual imports) will hurt trade and key industries like agriculture, healthcare, construction, and oil. Economists said the measures may raise prices on essentials and risk a recession in southern areas if the tariffs stay in place. KOAT
