- ➤ Bernalillo County will host the 32nd annual Pride Day on Sunday, April 27 at Westside Community Center. The event begins with an 11 a.m. parade from Blake Road and Isleta Blvd — judges include local media representatives — and continues with outstanding citizens' recognition at 12:30 p.m., local performances, and food trucks through 4 p.m. KOAT
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Rio Rancho Public Schools announced the opening of RioTECH, a new high school that will serve up to 250 students in grades 10 through 12 by offering free college-level career tech courses and hands-on labs — including welding, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC and electrical — in partnership with Central New Mexico Community College. The school will open for the 2025-2026 school year and aim to prepare students for skilled trade and technology careers. KOAT
