- ➤ Amarie Garcia, a 5-year-old from New Mexico, is getting ready to compete in the Miss Elementary America pageant in Little Rock from June 28+July 2 after coaching and fittings in Nashville, Mississippi, Tennessee, and New York City. Her mother, Tiara Garcia, said pageantry has been a lifelong focus and the duo has also launched a children's book on kindness as part of Amarie’s platform. KOAT
