GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Several advocacy groups—including EMPAC, TTRA and Puertocito-Golden Ranchers—filed an appeal in the 13th Judicial District Court on April 3 against Sandoval County’s decision to change zoning for the 1,833-acre Diamond Tail Solar and Storage Project in the East Mountains. • Construction crews began work on Meadowlark Lane in Corrales this week—an overhaul nearly twenty years in the making—that is redirecting traffic in Rio Rancho as closures on Loma Larga and Sara Road force drivers to take alternate routes.
