ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Today the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission approved a phased-in rate increase from PNM — customers will see an average extra $6.23 added to their electric bills in July and again next April — to help finance continued investments in reliable and sustainable electric service. KOAT
- ➤ Four hundred families who struggle to pay their PNM bills will get help as Intel redirects part of its rebate check from energy efficiency investments at its Rio Rancho facility. Intel’s upgrades saved more than 6 million kilowatt-hours—enough to power nearly 600 homes, and the funds will cover past-due electric bills. KOAT
