ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A crash at Coors Boulevard and Bluewater Road NW on Saturday afternoon killed a passenger in a Toyota while injuring both drivers and a Ford passenger, with police confirming that neither vehicle was speeding or impaired and that the Toyota was making a left turn when the Ford ran a yellow light — investigation continues. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ U.S. Sen. Ben Ray Luján and Sen. John Cornyn introduced a bill to fund a USDA sterile fly production facility to stop screwworms, a parasitic larva that halted cross-border livestock trade in Mexico and now threatens New Mexico’s farms.
