The CDC warned that the California-based August Egg Company recalled 1,700,000 dozen brown eggs—sold at retailers and restaurants in seven states including Walmart in New Mexico—because they might contain salmonella.
The eggs have sell-by dates from March 4 to June 19 and the outbreak has sickened 79 people with 21 hospitalized.
