The New Mexico Health Care Authority will allow SNAP households affected by the McCauley Springs Fire to request replacement benefits for lost food until July 14.
A total of 101 households, including those from Sandoval County ZIPs 87025-87044, are eligible and can call 1-800-283-4465 for help.

UNM Sandoval Regional Medical Center will host its Got Shots?
Back-to-School Vaccine Clinic on Saturday, July 11 from 9 a.m. to noon at its Family Practice Clinic in Rio Rancho (additional walk-in sessions run July 17, 24, and 31 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.) offering routine vaccinations for children.
New Mexico health officials confirmed three cases of cyclosporiasis linked to contaminated produce (leafy greens, berries, herbs) as the CDC reported over 140 cases in 17 states since May, with at least 20 hospitalizations.
Experts advise washing produce thoroughly and consulting a doctor if symptoms persist.
