A single-story fire at 2911 Ervien Street SW in South Valley was controlled 15 minutes after 2 p.m. Monday (with no injuries) and displaced eight people and two pets, with four residents assisted by the Red Cross while Bernalillo County Fire Rescue investigators have not determined the cause.
