Buses connect remote lots (Cottonwood Mall, Coronado Center, Hoffmantown Church, and Intel) to Balloon Fiesta Park with morning departures at 4 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. and returns until 11:30 a.m. Evening trips start at 3 p.m. Tickets must be purchased online as no service occurs Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.
McCall’s and Galloping Goat pumpkin patches have opened for the fall season and welcome families with abundant pumpkins and stable prices.
The patches (McCall’s in Moriarty and Galloping Goat sourcing from Estancia) overcame a dry summer by using well water to protect their crops.
🎓 Education
Nearly 200 hot-air balloon pilots visited Rio Rancho schools Friday for Balloons Aloft, where students learned about balloon science and sometimes stepped into a basket to see the experience up close.
