Here's your local news at a glance for Saturday, the 10th of October.
Good morning, Rio Rancho.
🎭 Culture
The band Savings from Albuquerque recorded their new single 'Stressed Out' from a hot air balloon during Balloon Fiesta, showing off their hometown pride (the show mixed high altitude with local tradition).
Today, the Balloon Fiesta in Rio Rancho features colorful balloons and dedicated volunteers (zebras, count: 55) dressed in black-and-white outfits who ensure safe launches despite a slight staffing shortage from retirements.
Interested locals can apply to volunteer (details on the event website).
